  We walked in as a family of 4. My 2 daughters - 10 and 13- were in a local dance competition and we heard this was a decent place for lunch. The restaurant was about half full. When we asked for a table, the woman at the hostess stand took a look at my kids, who were in makeup and wearing their team jackets, and said "I won't be able to give you a table". She did not say "we are full" or "it's about a 20 minute wait" or anything like that. What she meant was that was we were not the clientele that they wanted. If I could give this place negative stars I would.

  First, the positives. We were seated immediately. Our server was very friendly. The food was delicious! Now, the negatives. We waited 17 minutes for our server to attend our table. She apologized for the wait upon her arrival. We placed our order (as we had plenty of time to decide what we wanted!): a bottle of wine and two entrees. We waited another 9 minutes before having ask again for the bottle of wine. It was brought to us, and again she apologized for the wait. While waiting for our meals (the wait time on this was not an issue), we read the note on the table. We found it to be inappropriate. All in all, would we go back? Yes, as the food was fantastic, but at least now we know not to have high expectations on quality of service.
